ZrO2 BALL sensor

The ZrO2 BALL zirconia electrolyte is a simple, robust, all ceramic oxygen sensor. It is used for measurement and control of oxygen at high temperature. The sensor can be installed wherever measurement is required - no sampling or gas extraction equipment is needed.

  • Response time (< 1 s)
  • High measurement accuracy (max 0.02 % C)
  • The zirconia ball resists to thermal and mechanical shocks. It ensures perfect gastightness of the system without any sealing.
  • The ball can be replaced in less than 1 hour, at a very reasonable price.
  • Due to the cutting contacts of the electrodes any clogging of the junctions ceramic – metal is avoided; therefore, no motorisation of the electrodes is needed, and they do not stick to the zirconia.
  • For extreme working conditions
